Frank Feinstein, Rhythm guitarist, lead vocalist, and founding member of Boomerang, has been strumming and singing since the age of 12.  At 16, he was the youngest writer signed to an exclusive publishing company in Nashville, with one of his songs recorded by Tommy Cash.  In his country music life, Frank played under the stage name Frank Shannon, filming shows with Marty Robbins, and playing with Tex Ritter and Dottie West.  When he wasn't playing country music, Frank and bandmates entertained audiences around Nashville, rockin 'n rollin' at dances, private parties and local clubs.  After finishing school, and a stint with the Coast Guard, Frank dusted off his guitar and began playing and singing in restaurants and lounges all over the south.  These days, it's Beatles to Byrds, Shirelles to Supremes, Raiders to Rascals, that keep Frank rockin'!

Beverly Feinstein, Lead vocalist, keyboard player and percussionist began her music life in church and school choirs.  As a teenager, Beverly worked on her Supremes routines with friends from high school during "slumber" parties.  At 18, she switched musical gears to enter the Contemporary Christian/Gospel circuit, touring with the legendary Jake Hess, and later, she wrote and recorded an album of spiritual music.  Beverly and Frank dated in high school, went their separate ways, and found each other again in 2001.  They married in 2002 and reminisced about the good ol' days of rock and roll.  Before you could say "boomerang," the group was up and running, and club dates were selling out.  After spending her teenage years watching the boys have all the fun playing the hits of the 60's, Beverly decided it was her turn to rock 'n roll.

Frank and Beverly play with some of the best musicians around to make Boomerang Nashville's premier 60's tribute band.  Baby Boomers danced to the music when it was new, raised their kids on it, and now fans of all ages come out to experience the Golden Age of Rock 'n Roll.

John Noreen, Originally from Southern California, John started playing guitar in 1961 at the age of 11. He formed his first band two years later playing surf songs and other covers. This continued until, in 1967, that same band now called the Rose Garden, recorded a top 20 single "Next Plane To London" and album in that same year. Much touring and television followed.  In 1968, John took up the steel guitar. By 1970, John had started playing the country clubs in and around L.A. In 1973 he became a member of pop singer John Davidson’s backup band and for the next two years toured all over the country doing lots of TV such as the Tonight Show and the Sonny and Cher show.  In 1986, John became a member of a "new wave" polka band called Rotondi playing bass. He toured and recorded two CDs for the band during the next four years.  In 1990 John began playing steel guitar for the country band Highway 101 and subsequently moved to Nashville. He continued to record and tour the US and Europe with them for the next five years.  In the mid-nineties, John became a member of a Nashville band (via Hoboken) called the Delevantes playing 12-string guitar and steel guitar. During that period, he recorded two CDs with the band for Rounder and Capital Records as well as touring the US and Europe and performing on TV shows such as Conan O'Brian.  Today, wanting to stay a little closer to home, John is playing lead guitar for the 60's tribute band, Boomerang, and having a blast playing the rock and roll sounds of the past.

Don Wirth  Joined Boomerang in 2005 and knows the music of the sixties first-hand.  He hails from Chicago, where he played guitar with the popular British invasion group, the Cryan Shames.  Don knows his way around a recording studio --- he was broadcast producer for Nashville's largest advertising agency for several years, then ran Faded Blue Music, a production company on Music Row.  Here, he wrote and produced jingles for many national clients including Kentucky Fried Chicken, Goodyear and Pizza Hut.  Don played bass with the Nashville roots rock band, The Diehards, co-writing much of their material and co-producing their CD.  He was recently profiled in Bass Player Magazine's "Weekend Warriors" column.  Don's "day job" is writer/photographer for outdoor magazines like Field & Stream and Outdoor Life.

Gay Dement, Lead vocalist, percussionist and Frank’s sister, has been singing since she was two years old when her Mom and Dad placed her on the bar in a tavern and she sang for pretzels and peanuts! Also a trained dancer, she was active in high school with Theater Nashville, Circle Theater and Children’s Theater performing many different acting roles. She played the piano as "Miss Music" for the Romper Room School on a local television channel as well as hosting the reruns of "The Mickey Mouse Club" for three years in the sixties as "Kay" with Ken Bramming. Majoring in music and minoring in drama at Belmont University, she owned a dance school in Nashville for 15 years before going into public relations and advertising. Eager to have the chance to perform with her brother, she joined Boomerang in November of 2004 and is excited to be a red-hot rock and roll grandma!

Bob Stamps Has been friends with Frank and Beverly since high school.  He began his professional keyboard career with gospel legend, Jake Hess, and performed in shows at Opryland for three years.  He has done keyboard work for such artists as Barry Gibb, Tony Joe White, Virgil Gibson of The Platters. Leroy Van Dyke, Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose, The Van Dells, The Coasters and many others.  In 2005, he was voted "Keyboard Player of the Year" by the Music City Blues Society.  He is semi-retired and enjoys fishing and gardening.  He joined Boomerang as keyboard player in March 2008.

Doug Frame, Drummer, started out in the fourth grade school band after his older brother's friend, who played drums, broke a drum stick with a karate chop. Doug was so impressed with the friend's "talent" , he picked up playing drums himself. Doug hasn't stopped playing since that time. He has traveled the world several times and toured most states while working with or opening for the likes of  Teddy Gentry, of Alabama, The Dixie Chicks, Willie Nelson , Greg Allman and Phil Driscoll , as well as performing at  Alabama's June Jam X  and Fan Fair with the Tim Briggs Band. After moving to Nashville, Doug spent several years on the road with the Willie Nelson Tribute Show as a member of the Highway Legends Band that still performs locally. Doug and his wife Suzanne have called Nashville home since 2001, and Boomerang his new musical home.

Like a boomerang that comes back around, the oldies keep coming back as well, and  Boomerang

is keeping the greatest songs on earth

alive and well in a town near you.
